W124 E230 1990 Head Light Problem

Hi,

I have trouble with Main Head Light.

It doesnt turn on and also rear stop lamp doesnt.

What makes it or how can i fix it by myself?

Could be many things - first thing to check are the fuses 2, E ,13 ,14,15, 16 in the main fuse box under the bonnet. Rear stop lamp could simply be bulbs- or POOR CONNECTIONS in the light unit-very common fault or possibly the brake light switch that is operated at the top of the brake pedal. Other headlight possibilities are a faulty steering column switch or exterior headlight monitoring unit [ in the relay box]
