W124, E300. 1986. Automatic trans.

Hey, I have a W124, E300 1986mod with an automatic transmission. been running fine for the past years.
I did come across an issue last night when i drove home, I was doing 110(km/h) on the highway when suddenly it felt like the transmission went in to neutral. No mater how much gas I applied no power went to the wheels, I did however hear the engine reving. Then after like 5-6 seconds it all went back to normal, and i could continue on driving.

anyone has any idea what this can be?

All this started to happen right after i had to do some emergency braking and evading I did how ever hit a duffel bag with the right wheel(I stopped and picked it up it was empty so there was nothing hard in it . (some jerk lost half his luggage off his trailer, he never did stop just went on driving).

Does sound like low fluid, Mine does the same after hard cornering. I think I have a leaking pilot bush.

Hey, Thank you both for your input, regarding fluid i did fill up that no more than a week ago. I my self think it has some thing to do with the vacuum seal or sensor. but we will see. I deliver the car to the shop. (as i dont have time to tinker with it atm) I will post back here when I know what the cause is
