Very sad to let it go, believe me. I'm in no rush whatsoever though, so will happily make use of it as much as I can

I agree that the first one looks very nice but it is not a true E36. It is a conversion from an E320 with donor parts from an accident damaged (written off I assume) E36. However well the conversion has been done and however nice a condition the car is in (and it does look in excellent condition) the value and desirability will always be less than a genuine E36.
 
Horses for Courses, I know what id prefer, a better car in everyway and 4 large in my pocket or a genuine E36. I see Shakters Car more or less everyday and it is stunning

The first one used to be Simals..

I can see the appeal for the second one.. a bit of sleeper look, no one would know what it is until they tried taking you on.
 
I do like them....Shakter I would revisit your decision to sell if possible...where are you going to find another one like that??
 
I owned the first one for around 5 years and did all the modifications on it. I sold it, then bought it back a year later. I'd lost love for the the second time and sold it for much less than it was worth. I must have spent over £10k getting all the work done.
I had a factory e36 at the same time as this one and this converted on was better in every respect (except the log book being e320). I even bought a e36 gear selector that I never got round to fitting.

I have too many cars already so trying to downsize to be honest. There is POTENTIALLY another car in the pipeline but all will be revealed if that actually materialises!

Believe me - I was NEVER intending on selling this one. This was going to be the car that I keep with me forever. Simal did some amazing work on this thing. There were a few bits that needed doing when I took the car off him, which I have now had sorted. The car is looking great these days.

I know I will probably never find another car like this but if the right buyer (who will look after the car like it deserves) comes along then I am regretfully will sell :(

The car is a true testament to the care and attention that Simal paid when making the mods. I have never seen a car like it since it's been in my ownership. ALWAYS gets admiring looks.
