W124 E36 AMG Coupe

A lovely car, commented on previous here, when it was for sale on PistonHeads, IIRC.
But there's more pics on that ebay ad :D

A great spec car, just needs a gen II AMG kit to finish it off, IMO :)

Nice car. The pad looks nice too!!

Couple of MBs in the background on picture 2.

What do you reckon his reserve is? I reckon somewhere around 10-12k

Did these cars not have a Sportline chassis?

It does seem to be sitting up in the pics... hard to tell with the low profile tyres.

Looks very nice, be interesting to see if it makes reserve.

really nice car ... particularly like the colour combination :)

Sports chassis is standard on the E36.
Beautiful car, lovely colour.

Looks a minter, he wants around £12k. Which is not too bad, I think the like of Mr Ironside would be after almost double that.

If it's as clean as it appears in the pictures then I think it's worth every penny of what He's asking, it's not cheap but I don't think it's excessive either.

Mine has the 'standard' wheel but sports chassis.
Ade

And mine came with standard suspension but a sportline steering wheel.

does anyone have the performance figures for the E36? bhp? torque?

276bhp and around the same figure for torque, IIRC

0-60 in 7secs, but Mercedes are conservative with the E320 Coupe, so I'm guessing the same is true here.

Limited 155mph top speed

The difference between the 320 and the 36 is astonishing. The 320 is a little under powered at the bottom, and 36 does not suffer from this in the slightest. The 320 gives you a lot of power after 4000 rpm, the 36 is like that from 1000rpm upwards.

does the E36 suffer from the decomposing wiring loom/harness that affects other 124 coupes?

Discussed here. Very nice car though slightly overpriced and being sold by a dealer, not a private individual as he keeps making out.
