My friend came across this

We were wondering if such a thing existed. I thought the V8 was a snug fit surely the transfer box and diff would be very very cosy if possible at all?

Factory, after market conversion, or just a lie?

5 litre V8 was only available with 2WD. Avantgarde trim specification didn't exist until the W210 series of E class, and the W124 car is also described as that, so its probably an error on the listing.

I believe there was a V8 4MATIC in the later W210 with the M113 engine. My guess is someone has grafted on this later generation of 4wd system onto an existing w124 E500 but no mention of 4wd IN THE DESCRIPTION.
