This is an aftermarket job where someone has taken a E320 or E220 coupe and dropped the M119 5.0L V8 into it.

I figured as much, they even went to the trouble of fitting recaros like the early AMG conversions.

An E500 coupe is a nice idea, looks like it needs a reasonable amount of metalwork though.

The cars in a very sorry state. The paintwork is very flat in areas and the seller could have atleast washed the car and given it a good polish before selling. Indicates to how the seller has treated it

Some are coupes too, are these big engines dropped into standard coupes? Shame - would have been nice to be original
