W124 E500....how much?

I'm thinking of getting myself a W124 E500 and was wondering what prices I could expect to pay for one with @ 100,000 miles and full service history if I could find one........any thoughts?

My Hammer, when its back on the road, will be used for high days and holidays ;.....the E500 would be used more frequently.

I had a look at that ********** E500......seriously, that has got to be way overpriced, whereas the other makes me think there is something wrong with it, ie price and MOT running out at the end of this month.

Any other thoughts on prices?

Thanks for the link to the German equivalent of Autotrader.....interesting to see whats for sale over in Germany.

Prices for 500E's are not that different to over here.....yes, you can pick up some cheap ones, but they all appear to have been messed around with and have mileage north of 150,000 miles.

For real good condition cars @ 100,000 miles it appears that you would pay @ £10k

It will be interesting to see of it sells.

I can't help but think that if I was the owner, e-bay would be the last place I would attempt to sell something like an E500.

If I want to laugh I go to the ********** site and look at the prices.

For a reasonable condition 100,000 mile car I would spend about £ 9,000 - 10,000 tops privately, maybe more for a particularly lovely version but remember these are just an old W124 so probably get treated as such. But I'm no expert, just the information I've gathered monitoring the prices in the past year etc.
