Must have missed when and where the 124 day is again! Sorry to go off topic!

Hi,

Nice car Vlad.

Someone mentioned Classic Benz - was that Cheshire Classic Benz?
If so, that was my old car - 1994 S500 Coupe C14 JPM (put back on standard plate by CCB), same colour but not two tone leather, around 57k miles.

Love Mercs but that is the one I miss!

W124 Model Register Event 2015, Stratford-on-Avon - Save the Date!

Neville Wright and Claire McFadden have teamed up again to bring together fans and friends of the W124 for the weekend of Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th September. The concours event will take place on the Sunday as usual, with an optional day out on the Saturday. By popular demand, there will also be a social event on the Saturday evening at our riverside venue of the Holiday Inn right in the centre of Stratford on Avon.

The cost per vehicle is just £3 for entry on Sunday and tickets must be bought in advance so please ask for a booking form from Catherine Barlow (NB: Full details and booking forms will not be available until early 2015).

Optional extras will include a Cotswold drive-out on Saturday taking in the Cotswolds Car Museum & Model Village in Bourton-on-the-Water with many other local attractions along the leisurely route. We will assemble in the evening on the riverside terrace of the Holiday Inn for an informal barbeque before the main event on Sunday. With riverboats docking right alongside us, we will be able to take advantage of this unique way of seeing the historic sights of Stratford, and as we are right in the town, it's many delights will be on hand for all the family to enjoy.

It’s a date not to be missed if you own a W124 or just fancy a great day out, or even a weekend away, with friends. We are also hoping to be able to team up with West Midlands area soon to discuss the local dealership and see if a visit might be arranged for anyone interested. If any forum members have any contacts there please let us know.
