W124 eight hole wheels which tyres?

I have a 1995 e320, with 195 65 15 tyres, would 205 50 15 be ok on these rims, if not which other size would work.

Should be 205/60/15 - or 195/65/15. There are two different widths of alloy - 6.5J and 7J. In theory the 6.5J takes the 195s and the 7J the 205s - in practice the 205s will go on either; ditto for the 195s - but they are getting a little close to the width of the rim if you fit to a 6.5J rim.
There will be a part number stamped inside the wheels - starts 124......that will enable you to find the width. Check they are all the same. If no part number starting 124....then they are not genuine MB wheels.

Of course it should say "if you fit to a 7J rim" and not "if you fit to a 6.5J rim" at the end of the first para above.
