Does anybody out there know if the memory seats are backwardly compatible with the regular electric seats on the w124?
I'm not trying to retro fit the memory function, I managed to twist the seat base on the passenger side when brute forcing it out of the car due to a broken captive bolt. I've been tryign to find a replacement, and can only find a seat base from a car with memory seats.
I was hoping I could use it as is, and the controls would still hook up and be usable, just sans memory function.
Otherwise, is it a case of swapping all of the wiring and motors over to make it work?
Any advice greatly appreciated.
