Can you get a separate wiring loom for the engine bay, rather than replacing the whole loom?

But it is best to replace all of the loom as it all suffers with breakage. Buying the part loom is just not worth it.

there is a loom on ebay at the mo with a part number, only £150 but if it is suitable you might get a bargain
