Hi all,

Can anyone verify these bumper inserts would fit my 1996 w124 coupe?

Or anyone know where I can find some?

Thanks and regards

Hi all,

Have not been able to source a pair of these yet.

They are quite expensive from MB, so am trying to find an alternative supplier or pattern part.

Any suggestions are welcome..!

the pattern ones just seem to be saloon ones. i couldnt find pattern estate ones either.

the fronts are all the same, so will be okay. as said above, pre-facelift but facelift versions are on ebay

You might be better off searching for genuine used bumpers rather than just the inserts. Or depending ion how bad your one's are, just getting them repaired & sprayed.

Interesting rims, are they OEM? Not seen them before :)

Hi

You must be looking at another thread.

The wheels on the car are from a newer C class. They are OEM for that vehicle.

Just buy a used bumper, easy and cheaper.

Hi

I have been looking for used bumpers - all so far are similar if not worse than my existing bumper.

Amazed this is so difficult - did Mercedes restrict the patent on the strips pr something?

Hello all,

Could someone kindly post the part numbers of bumper strips/inserts for a 1996 w124 coupe? front and back if possible.

Believe that I may have been searching for full bumpers this whole time. .!

Bumper inserts were around £100 each last time I bought some from MB. Call your dealer and ask for the insert

The pattern ones will fit badly and have a horrible finish - that I guarantee

Hi

Being quoted £300 inc VAT from the dealers - but am fairly sure the part numbers I provided were for the bumper itself not the inserts.

Can anyone provide part #?

Thank you Dinoy,

I contacted this very company and was told this will not fit my car.

I have ordered one in desperation and hope that it will fit!

Thank you again

Thank you all.

I would certainly prefer original parts - but am having bad luck sourcing them so far.

The part numbers seem to be the biggest mystery at the moment.
