W124 fuel/non starter

Hi all.
A few months ago I bought a W124, it hasn't been on the road since 2007 so it's a long project.

It is currently a non runner.....I don't have fuel getting through to the FD, i have changed the pump nearest the tank and will order the pump nearest the filter over the next few days.

I have fuel at the return pipe on the FD, but nothing at the FD inlet pipe. Could there be a blockage in the tank?

Any suggestions?

Hi James,

Drain the tank down and check/replace the strainer first.

If it’s been sitting that long, the strainer will likely be completely blocked.
