w124 interior light removal

hi

does anyone know how to carefully remove the internal courtesy light unit (and sunroof switch) housing on the roof lining on a w124?

it appears to need to be prised out but i dont want to prise it in the wrong place and damage any trim

There are 2 spring clips on the right (Drivers side) of the light. Just slide to the right and it pops out.

Be careful with the connection to the temperature sensor/aspirator motor which is next tot he sunroof switch as the connection to that doesn't have much play and will need to be disconnected before you can lower the dome light.
