W124 interior (rear bench).

I have searched through the forum as well as the net and I can't seem to find a n answer to my question.


How do I fold back the rear head rest if the button on the centre console doesn't work?


Basically I have stripped down most of the interior from the donor 230E that I have bought and the only thing that I had to destroy was the rear headrest switch cable as there was something connected to it and it was preventing me from taking off the centre console. I have not checked the headrests before I have started stripping the car and now I have no idea how to take the rear bench off as one of the headrests is up....?

hi mate, you need to release the pins all the way in the back inside the boot, this will allow you to remove the head rests.

If your headrests have a vacumm pipe going to them, try sucking it and it should drop.
