w124 lights left on buzzer

hi

the buzzer that used to sound when you leave the lights on has stopped buzzing.

Any ideas on where to start looking?

only buzzes when your lights are on and u open door to leave the car, in all other cases it will not buzz, i am sure u know that but thought just in case highlight for other users

Its a 201, but I guess it will be the same.

thanks. I had to replace the ignition switch so maybe i knocked a wire or something. i've also had the cluster out. i didnt realise the buzzer was part of the cluster - gives me a starting point
