I just replaced my loom for a new genuine MB item as part of a long-term restoration project that I'm doing on my cabriolet.
Selling my old loom to anybody who wants a cheap/quick fix to get them out of a pickle on their car.
The loom is showing signs of being quite tired and has the usual degradation in places. However, my car worked perfectly fine with it. I just happen to be aiming for an A1 minter with my own car. If I was only keeping my car for a year and then selling on, I would have left it. Apparently I bought the last one that was in stock at the MB depot in Milton Keynes and any more would now be on a special-order basis from Germany.
Anyway, here's some pics, including some patchwork fixes that the previous owner had done to it:
I'm going to wrap the loom up now and store it in the shed, as I don't expect it to sell any time soon. If anybody is interested, please message me via PM or post in this thread.
