W124 mirrors

My w124 convertible has an odd problem, the side mirrors are leaking a lot of water into the inside of the car :-/ does anyone know what the problem might be?

Probably the rubber gasket that seals the mirror to the door.

The windscreen pillar/door frame rubber also has a drain that can tear and let water in near the mirror internal trim.

the top corner of the pillar you should be able to see the drain.
