that was fun, drove all night from West London to Bonnie Scotland. kipped outside the garage, having all crazy doubts in my head that i have wasted my time etc etc.

then i saw them pull the car out and i knew it was a keeper straight away!

had the usually rust on the wings, more on the passenger side. but apart from that the car was sweet, very clean throughout. slight damaged to the internal quater panel behind the driver. also the passenger window failed to open, which helped with the haggling of the price! all very minor

As you can see the rust on the front wing is showing through, but rest of the car was clean

then i did some sound deadning on the boot lid, to stop some of the rattle dropping out

had to replace the radiator which had some leaks (sorry no pictures of that)

and then repalces all the springs to some H & R's, the front passenger side had a slight crack in it so it made sense.

8's on the front 9s on the back. i had to go for 10mm spacers on the front to clear the front calipars, but the rears went on like a glove. the older wheels were 8.5j and the way the angle of the rim design was just cleared the calipers

I have given the sprayer a camera so i iwll have more pictures when i get the car back to share, which will show up all the rust stops and repairs he had to do, but below are some that i took to see how they are getting on.

Didnt want to leave the car at first! but knew the work has to be done.:(

really missing her now, cant want to have it back and go for a long drive!
