I bought 2 as I figure it has to be worth having a couple of spares, and replacing 2 of the 6 ball joints in the steering isn't going to hurt. Together with a new steering damper, idler arm bush kit and lower seal for the steering box, some of steering slop will be reduced.

Yes, all 124s use the same part number for the drag link, A1244601205, even LHD drive cars use this part number.

Can't vouch for the quality of Q drive parts though. But it's only 3 19mm bolts to swap, so worth a punt I reckon.
