We have an identical one of them on a work car, it has a very 'meaty' sound to it, without sounding boy racerish... we've never had problems with it (been on the car since 50k miles, now upto 90k miles.
Only problem...it dosent fit ANY 124 rear bumper with cutout, the real late bumpers with the full length pad, actually have the cutout slightly to the side of where the tips sit. We had this problem, then replaced the rear bumper with an earlier bumper and it sits fine...
