Hi all, I have a 1987 W124 260E. the radio is a Pioneer CD jobbie, which apart from looking non original, doesn't work.

I am after the original radio, but not sure what to look for? I suspect after doing some research that it was an Audio 10 radio/cassette, but upon searching ebay have found also an Audio 10 radio CD as well, which would be more useable for me plus it still looks OE. My question is, would the wiring be the same?

Thanks all,

Steve.

I can tell you the exact radio cassette that was fitted form new if you need it. In my glove box i have all the books that came with the car from new .In there is the radio cassette booklet for the radio . It was removed from my car by the first owner who my cousin, and had a cd player installed .He still has the radio cassette for me to change over when it sold .Thats if new owner wants an original radio fitted.
