W124 Restoration

Brilliant Dash, you must be very pleased ?

Cheers chaps :) I am very pleased, the car has a lot of presence

The only downer is that the car spent couple of years under the cover and it has not done any good to that fresh paint.Nothing a machine polish can't sort anyway :thumb:

How much did the spray job cost as it looks like

The bodywork and paint cost me 3.5k,Londons prices are crazy so I'd say find someone your end

I've just spent the last hour reading the whole thread and really enjoyed it.
All credit to you Dash and well done.
I love the car and its colour, but I especially like those seats.
Great work, I salute you.
R.

Put some 18s on today, and yes they'll be coming out as the ride is not my liking

It looks nice on 18s though

Hello mate

yep, ride height needs fine tuning

The ride probably feels softer at the wheel with the slightly higher tyre profile

I worked out the spring rates and calculated the wheel rate for the proposed springs, i think you are going to like what i have planned...hehe

Nice build and a proper commitment to your favourite car for all these years!
Re ride height I think you have to address the rear axle height only as the front looks good (not too low to keep some comfort)
