W124 300E 1989 Blue-Black (199) w Cream Leather
Hi,

couldn't find anything in a search, apologies if this is already out there.

The boot on my 300e shuts really hard when, I'm thinking of looking at the springs, (can I adjust them?) but I did notice the small rubber stops on mine are completely decayed and hard. so this could be the issue.

Any suggestions on what they are called and where I can get some.
I tried googling but nothing that seemed right.

cheers

Prise off the side trims in the boot and you will see the springs are located in one of four holes.

Move the spring rearward, and the lid should hit you in the face when you open it. :D
