Hello.

I have question about the top mount of front shock absorbers my w124 has.
What is point of those stands beneath camber angle adjusting plates? I've considered are the absorbers too long for suspension my W124 has? (Its very low tho)

Please note that i'm just casual car lover and very curíous, trying solve problems by myself.
English isn't my language so don't bother with typos. :)

That is not a standard W124 top mount. Camber (and caster) adjustment is made using the eccentric bolts holding the bottom suspension arm to the body of the car, obviously someone wanted more adjustment than the standard solution provides.

Could it make difference on control experience if absorber is not totally pressed in as car is low? So this stand gives absorber freedom to do its work.
