hi
my silver W124 estate has always screeched when the soft close electric tailgate closer operates. i've sprayed WD40 into it without success.
does anyone know what the likely cause is and if it can be fixed? it operates correctly so i dont really want to swap it for a replacement if i can avoid it. is there a knack to how to lubricate it?
