Hi All,
I have a 1995 CE220 cabrio with Brabus 18" alloys, 225/40 tyres. A recent puncture highlighted the fact that the wheel bolts don't fit a standard merc alloy which is the spare (All fitted by previous owner, who I have now asked for the original wheel bolts!!) My question is: is it possible to carry a suitable merc "spacesaver" spare i.e would it be legal for MOT if it wasn't original fit and if yes, which car would be a suitable donor. The car is standard with the exception of the alloys.
Cheers
Eddie

Why not just get 4 bolts that fit the spare and keep them wrapped up in a rag in the boot with the spare ?
