Hi guys,

Anyone out there know of a Mercedes Specialist in Northern Ireland, I know of a few outside Dublin, but too far for me for a service or work.

Anywhere around the border area would be great,

Thanks

There's several. Google is your friend.

Here's one, heard nothing but good reports about them.

Mercedes specialist

I am in County Down, general servicing and whatever may come up. I have been trying, in vain to this point, to bring a nice W124 estate from England as I cant find any nice ones in Ireland. I came across one which may need the wiring loom changed and other "specialist" jobs done. AGNEWS in Belfast don't want to know and you couldn't afford them anyway, I don't have hands for the work and have found over the years it is best to pay a professional to perform such jobs. I have tried to purchase cars at the higher end of the market from "specialists", you all know who I am talking about, but because I am in Ireland I get piped to post or they don't want to be bothered with email questions.
Anyway, trying to get the pieces in place so when I find one I have a person who knows what they are doing on the car!

Creevey Autos, Crossnacreevey, on the road to Ballygowan out of Belfast. I can highly recommend them.

I guess Coleraine is too far for you, but I'll throw in Nitec Auto Repairs. Very good and well priced.
There is a good e280 in dublin for sale, originally a UK car, so easily re-registered...

It's probably a bit late in the day, but I feel compelled to say otherwise after stumbling across this recommendation. I had rather an unpleasent experience, probably more with Tom Snr than his son. I don't mind paying for work, and I certainly paid above what was quoted, but their customer service was well below par and I was left with rather a bad taste. I am happy to explain in detail to anyone if required.

Sorry to hear that and I'm a bit surprised as I know a couple of people that used them over an extended period of time and the feedback was excellent, the cars in question were first rate too.

shoot me a PM - the guys who work on my C43 are in Cookstown and are excellent with all mercs of old - they are actually building a nice W124 estate at the moment (for the son)

A rewire of the loom is something they should be able to help with

I have tried a lot of the so called specialists. The best I have found is Ben Cosgrove of Benzworkshop. He is very reasonably priced and sorted an electrical problem on my W126 when others either didn't want to known or couldn't figure it out. He's in north county Dublin right next door to the train station, a genuine knowledgeable guy.
