Well it appears that he has done the work. So taking away the cost of the work to date I think that this is not bad a price.

But is it a Sportline? I don't see that option on the invoice, only a sports steering wheel. It also lists 8 hole alloys which would have been part of the Sportline pack and not listed separately. :dk:

It does look like a good one doesn't it.

How much?????? For a 230??????

Not really sure Sportline suspension is a + in an estate TBH.

Disagree with that.If a 124 needs to be lowered and wider wheels it's the estate
The handling on a standard S124 is :eek::eek:

Having seen the effect of freshening up the suspension on a standard W124, and having been in several Sportlines, if you have a big engined one (with the weight at the front) Sportline does help, but on a 230 it's pretty pointless. It's not a car to hustle, and anyway I like driving hard and rolling a bit - it's the price you pay for a much more comfortable ride. New springs make a huge difference whatever the spec of the car.

The car in the ad looks nice, if it's well sorted and you can tolerate the lower performance of a 230 I can't see it being really over-priced.

What is the best way to get a s124 lowered with SLS intact??
