Thread revival time!
I've been considering some work on my R129. I'm pleased with the handling and ride albeit a little firmer than a 124.
My question is this, I've been getting a little high frequency vibration through the steering wheel at speed. It's almost like a minor wheel imbalance. I've swapped wheels and tyres for a brand new set. No difference. It's so minor that a lot of people wouldn't notice, but I like to get things as good as I can. I've also replaced the top mounts, arb bushes, steering damper, brakes and rear shocks.
So if it's not the wheels could it be the ball joints/bushes on the control arms? No clunks or play but 20yrs old and no record of being replaced.
