I think when my second car burnt out in 1995 I didn't bother replacing it.

Once I'd seen how quick the professionals can get them off, didn't seem a lot of point.

I imagine a very good immobiliser is a better bet.

A disklock or an immobiliser wont stop these organised gangs lifting the car on to a low loader which is their modus operandi.

They get carted off to a lock up or a dodgy scrap/breakers yard and are quickly stripped down into parts which then get shipped off to Africa to keep the many old mercs over there going.
