This is related to my recent thread (w124 expert needed)
A very kind member here has just nursed me through this problem and i have just confirmed that the fault i have is down to a faulty throttle position switch.
My question is has anybody fitted a new switch to the throttle body?....i have you tubed it but nothing on there (seems other makes of cars use a screw fitting one)
Somebody is selling these switches on ebay, and as they have sold a few, i thought that perhaps somebody here has attempted the repair
It almost looks like the switch is molded into the throttle body, as there are no fixings visible........anyone tried it?
