Hi all,
Looking to remove some of the body roll on my 93 320ce, can anyone recommend somewhere i can get some?
Have done a search but cant seem to find any. My chassis no. says it already has sports suspension, so looking for an inprovement on that.
Thanks.

Go for a BRABUS anti roll bar Talbir has one fitted to his TE, hes said it improves handling alot.

The Sportline setup is pretty good. First thing to do is check all the bushes and the springs/shocks.
The next size up is the Sportline cabriolet front bar which is what I have on mine. You will get slightly flatter cornering but also a bit more understeer. You could try it (it's easy to fit) and if you then want less understeer you can fit the 500E rear bar (not so easy to fit!).

I plan to change the shocks and springs and all related bushes, so i'd like to do the arb's at the same time.
Will the 500e front bar fit?

It will but the 500E bar is shaped to clear the V8 sump. The Sportline cabriolet bar is the right shape for the I6 and it's actually thicker than the 500E bar.

Thanks for that ill see if i can get my hands on a cabriolet front and 500e arb's, will also look at the brabus one.
Cheers for all the replies. Will let you know how it goes.

Lots of pictures and part numbers here.
'Limo' bar = Sportline cab bar.

Arb,s ordered, front already arrived with new bushes. Waiting for rear, will let you know how fitting goes.
Cheers for the info janners.:thumb:

What wheels & tyres are you running? Bear in mind that the tyre sidewall is likely to be the softest spring on the car and that increasing the lateral stiffness of the car via stiffer ARBs will load up the tyres more

The largest diameter front bar that you can fit would be P/N 124-323-77-65 which is the 93-85 Sportline cab or Limo bar.
This is equal to a 500E bar but designed for the I6 engine/chassis.

Rear would be the 500E P/N 124-326-25-65

Parts are still available from MB.

The question is "Why do you have body roll with your existing Sportline suspension " ?

It may be more then your sway bars...
Could be as basic as needing new bushings or as expensive as fatigued springs and shocks.

How many miles do you have on your vehicle ?

Sportline suspension is more then adequate to handle the power and chassis load of a stock E320 .

Will be running 8.5x18's all round, 224/40, 245/35 tyres. Yes i know about the effects of lowering the profile of the tyres and stiffening the suspension, but i feel the car is just to wallowy and (is that a word!) for me.
Having come from a modified mercedes a little sacrifice in comfort to inprove the handling i don't mind doing.

Exactly what i ordered, had the suspension all checked when i bought the car and all is fine.
The mileage at the moment is 140k and it drives perfectly fine , i had the chance to drive a e320 with half the mileage and there was no difference in ride quality and body control.
I suppose it's just that i'm used to a slightly firmer ride with less body roll.
When i had a 114 280ce i had the steering box adjusted to take out the vagueness in the steering, can anything be done like that on the 124?
