Hi, this isn't really a problem, more a niggle.
I have a W124, 1994, with option 880 infrared remote locking and alarm, but the key fob has no loop for a keyring - it's just a chunk of plastic, too easily lost for my liking.
My part number is 140 760 0306, so I'm assuming the same infrared locking was available on the S class W140 at the time as well. It uses two big flat batteries on top of each other, not 4 small button batteries arranged next to each other.
Does anyone have the same (note it's single-button) infrared keyfob, but WITH a loop to attach a keyring? If so, could I trouble you for the part number - it's in the recess the metal key folds into.
Many thanks!
