W124 water in N/S/F footwell

so this is the area where my holes are, see prev post, well at least this is how it should look. can anyone confirm wether or not there should be a hole in circled area? is it like a drain?

Have you checked the other side, normally they leave a small area open to let any water that gets trapped out. Compare the other side of that main support. That from what i can see is the main chassis support that runs to the front that supports the engine and front of the vehicle. if you look on the inside of the car where this part connects to the floor pan if you see a hole there then it could be a problem. I will go and check my car now and see if i have the same on mine
