I really like the kit too, i'm considering getting it as my current front wings are begining to rust, and after seeing the end result of Jay's awesome thread im feeling a little brave

And yeah they do look like gen 2 copies, either that or the get the gen 2 AMG bumpers and mod them.

If i do get it i'll be selling my gen 2 front AMG bumper along with the rear bumper. should help re coup some cash

I looked into it and decided that for the kit cost and the labor to install it's less expensive to purchase the 500E sheetmetal !!!

Looks great but it the kit fibreglass? It's a lot of money considering it will also cost loads to fit.

The one in the advert looks good (genuine AMG conversion maybe?) but the actual panels shown above look sh1te.

The panels above look sh1te because they're off a 4 door.

yep fibre glass is TIME consuming to fit properly!!! no two wings will be the same... trust me..

Its always worth considering finding a bodyshop good enough to fabricate metal arch extensions onto the originals for you, that is cut away the old arch bit of the panel and weld in a new piece of metal, pretty sure that way you could get a DTM look arch thats not gonna fall to pieces or a panel that doesnt fit properly. But the guy who does it has to be good...
