As I only drive the 300ce in the summer months when its dry, my window wiper is now bitterly slow and really only works on one speed... the cars not coming out to play until the summer but im thinking I should get a replacement from a breakers on ebay.. or on here if cheap enough!

What do people recommend... just get a motor only or also get a new mecanisim bity as well?

Thanks dec. Thsts worth a go.

The intermittent setting works and is only slightly faster than the 1st on setting. The fast speed doesnt work at all as the wiper seems to get stuck trying too go fast!

If you find that you need another motor or mechanism I've got a few here.

While im here I too need a full new grill and chrome soiround bit for my 1990 non face lift. Needs to be in good shape with no bits misding or bent!. Pm me if anyone has one and a price inc delivery please.

Also, what about a low charge in the car battery, that could be causing the slow motor, will the wiper speed improve if the engine is running?... try that after you lubricate the mechanism.

Thabks. Battery new last year and spot on being on a trickle charger whikst csr is in storage.

Im going to try the lubrication first, to see how I get on before opting for new mech and motor as they are cheap enough.
