Hi,

I’m looking for zebrano wood trim for the heater controls with no aircon, and holes for six buttons along the top

Not terribly worried about the arrangement of the six holes,

Thanks a lot

I’ve seen on one eBay.de, but it’s expensive, thought I’d try here as a last ditch effort to save a few pounds

I have a wood working business and I’m probably better off buying a new one and selling the old one because I don’t have the kit to cut that hole perfectly

Dave Tromp on the group can have the extra hole cut but then again that's more money

Quite, better to just bite the bullet and pay the money I’m starting to think

If you do get a new piece then you can use cutting compound, fine grit polish and a finishing wax on the old bits like you do on the exterior paint to bring them up nice and shiny. Be careful on the deeper scratches though, you will tend to smear them out if you just use your finger rather than a very small flat piece of cork or similar. Make your own flat to fit your finger with a larger twist drill and cloths and they should come up a treat.

As above. I did this with mine and it came up like new. Take your time and use a high quality petrol restart lacquer. High quality is the key not the cheap runny bubbly cloudy stuff.
