Ten grand

Porno red leather interior is not the most popular colour these days.

I've seen plenty for around half the price of this in much nicer and dateless colour combos.

10 g's is well over the top for that...

I actually like that, very retro and MB did some and still do so funky colour combinations.

Low miles, looks lovely, but all the w126's polish-up well. Personally I can't stand the interior, and even Charles Ironside would think twice about putting that sticker on the windscreen.

That's a super combo, smoke silver with maroon interior.

Even better if the exterior was black 040 !

yum yum !

As everyone else said - 10k is just way too much right now, even taking into account the low mileage. If more people bought cars based on condition rather than the wholly arbitary mileage then prices for these cars would be a bit more realistic. I've bought a number of cars with well over 100k on the clock and never had a problem (including my current W126). I'd rather know the car had been used over the past two decades than left in a corner getting polished.

I don't know where the myth about 'lack of usage being detrimental to a car' came from, but in my experience, it's absolutely false....not being used has no detrimental effect on a car. Most of mine don't move for 12-18 months at a time....but when i bring them out to play for a 6 month run, they perform exceptionally.

A good sound car with mechanicals in good order will perform as expected, regardless of frequency of use.

Agree that condition is far more critical than odometer reading....odometer reading is the last thing i look at when buying a car, if at all.
