The double downpipes always become one at the point where they latch to the transmission bracket.
The system in the auction above is a post 85 Gen II system only.
Gen I systems (Pre Sept 85) only have two components : a centre piece which runs from the downpipes to the rear exhaust, and the rear exhaust itself.
Gen II systems have 3 compoenents....the front pipes, the cetnre piece and rear exhaust.
I learnt the differences between the systems when i fitted the full AMG Sebring Gen I system on my AMG SEC DOHC Widebody, and the full Gen II AMG Sebring system (same as the above auction) on my white AMG narro-body SEC.
These old Sebring exhausts can be pretty tired and rusty through age - so one needs to be careful as if it's bad it's junk ! I was lucky to get my Gen I system on my DOHC Widebody, brand spanking new.
