W126 Radio Removal

Radio is Pioneer KEH 1300 (face-off type)
I want to remove it
I have 2 keys that look a bit like a Yale front door key but 1/4 the thickness
They have "Mercedes Benz" on them but I cant make them work
Do you insert the keys and then pull apart?

Hi there mate you will need a set of Pioneer radio removal keys the mercedes ones are only good for the original mercedes radios.

Maybe like this. Try your local PIONEER ICE or even Halfords they usually have some kicking around.

Old teaspoon handles did the trick with those Pioneers just be gentle dont force/ bend the pins or it just gets worse, separate the spoon ends ie push towards car doors once they are about an inch into the radio. Good Luck
