W126 ride height

My recently acquired w126 300se is sat too high one the drivers side front corner.

What are the things to check?

It seems unnaturally high so I don’t think it’s that the rest of the car is too low, in fact it all looks a bit higher than it should.

Can rubber spacers be fitted to a w126 as they can on a w124 to adjust ride height?

Would the incorrect spring (from a v8 or diesel) cause a 2 inch variation?

On the passenger side the top of wheel to arch is about 85mm, drivers side about 130mm

Ordered a couple of new front springs from Mercedes, see if that cure it

Didn’t cure it

Went through the points system to determine which springs it needs and long story short the car sits even higher , 720mm from floor to highest point of underside of front arch!

Maybe that’s the way it should be?
