W140 centre brake light not working

Hello all,

The 3rd brake light on my newly acquired W140 is not working.

On inspection the old bulb was blown and so was replaced today - but its still not illuminating.....

Ive had a quick look in the engine bay fuse box, but couldnt spot the fuse responsible for the 3rd light.

Can anyone shed any light on the matter? haw-haw

I could be wrong but I think it all the brake lights use the same fuse. Have you tested to see if power is getting to it? Or it might have a bad earth conection?

Thanks for the reply. Ive actually managed to solve it The bulb holder in the light fitting itself needed a bit of tinkering - now fixed and have 3 brake lights
