W140 coupe suspension overhaul

How much would it cost to refurb the suspension on my 1993 500 coupe. The car seems a bit loose to drive and makes groaning noises from the front end. Obviously labour rates vary, but a rough price is what i need. Thanks

Whoa what a question!

It just depends what needs doing. The suspension on 140's is very strong. Get your local indy to give it a once over and check what actually needs doing.

It wont be cheap to replace all of it!

Groaning would indicate the near/offside lower ball joint, ive just replaced both sides at £20 pounds each.Also the lower offside wishbone £120 (worn rubber bush) and both coil springs as one was cracked £44 each. I would say the car was in for four hours. I would start with the lower ball joints as it is an easy fix and probally an hours labour.All the prices are as above, just add your garage's labour rates.
