w140 pillarless coupe windnoise

i have a c140 500 coupe.. on the motorway it suffers from bad wind noise especially on the drivers side, it looks as if the windows are not sealing properly or misaligned.. is this common or are there any components which wear over time.. any help would be appreciated.

Some owners suggest syncing the windows - this is only if they aren't closing properly. Ignition on, and send the windows up (but don't use the auto up and down) just depress the button far enough so that the window still moves. When the window reaches the top keep the button depressed for 3-5 seconds. Ignition off and release-try your windows again.
