W140...the hunt continues

SL is gone and replaced by a CL500. I forgot how massive they were! Came into the office today (and on here!) and parked in front of a blue R129...makes it look like a toy.

LS400 is going this weekend so the W140 voices are telling me only they will suffice. Anyone else have this happen?

Now, if I could just get the middle car spot where I park, I could have space for a set in a row: CL, S-Class, SL.

Would give me a selection of places to sleep in if the wife found out!

I've got a cheapy one here that is too good to break, a 300se in nautic with mushroom.

I have possibly sourced an engine elsewhere (which is why i bought it). Could be a halway house to give you time to find a really nice one/

Thanks John but I have become very used to the V8 powerplant and also need aircon.

Yours did look like a fine example.
