W163: A little help with part numbers...

Hello all
I am trying to order a Crankshaft position sensor for my ML270. I can find two different part numbers.
A0031532828 and A0031532728 online . Local MB dealer hasn't been too helpful.

How can I make sure which one I need for my car without taking the old one out (which is not the easiest thing)

Part 029 in the diagram below.
Both Part numbers fit your ML.
A 00 315 328 28 is just an updated Part number.
