Hello guys,I have a ML270 CDI 2004 model.
I believe it has the Brembo brakes because they are MASSIVE:eek:
Does anybody(especially fellow ML owners)recommend anywhere to get some brake pads from, apart from the main dealers???
I'll be needing the rear brake pads.
What BRAND is the best quality and best value???
Any replies would be much appreciated:thumb:

ATE from Euro car parts are excellent quality

Thanks for that BlackC55;)
Mercedes-Benz says I'll need the sensor(s) and cleaner(?) as well.
Do you think it's necessary?
The rear pads are approximately 90% worn:eek:
Rear pads 64.43 + VAT
Sensor 7.74 + VAT
Cleaner 6.54 + VAT
Labour will be 119.04 + VAT.
What do you think of these prices:confused:
Many thanks.

Are OMP (road & sport) rear brake pads (part no. OT/8027) any good?
I've just saw a set for 46.50 with free delivery:)
Also, EBC Red Stuff rear brake pads (part no. DP31395C) for 35.72 + P&P.
The ATE pads from eurocarparts are 52.84 + VAT.

Fit them yourself to save the labour. Lots of how to do its on the web.

What you will need is several sachets of high temp brake grease to lubricate the pad/caliper surfaces. Your MB dealer can supply this. Oh and a good quality face mask to prevent dust inhalation while doing the job.

Could be a job for my BF;)
He's good with his hands:Dbut he's a chef:doh:
