I have a W reg (2000) ml 320
Wife spilt coke down the centre console and fried the gear selector module.
I have purchased another with the correct top board, tip tronic worked but wouldn't come out of park.
Independent has stated on test incorrect part fitted CAN bus not talking correctly) that correct part number required is 1632601009.
Went to purchase but part checker came up incorrect.
How do validate that get the exact right part having already purchased one incorrectly.
Note the top circuit board was correct compared to the one I removed.
