W163 (ML) upgrades suggestions wanted ....

I am required to assist in an ML retrofit (with factory phone ).

- COMAND / MCS ......... which is the Euro version ?

- REAR ICE .................. Headrest or M Benz OEM ?

- DVD player ................ Gaming console or OEM ?

- Illuminated tread strip ........... OEM or 3rd party ?

Its going to make one heck of a HOW TO !

Is there anything else I need to look for like BOSE tweeters in the doors ? Wireless headphones ? CD stacker ?

Should I try and add anything else while I have the car in 4,000 pieces ? I presume canbus is well and truly onboard.

The ML doest have canbus for any audio functions

I chose PS2 linked to MB TV tuner as my DVD source killing 2 birds with 1 stone.

Sony Roof mounted drop down screen with IR Headphones & remote . linked also to comand

MB Nokia 6310i phone kit

Capable of Nav in the front and TV/DVD in the rear front stuff output via cars existing speakers , rear via headphones or speakers
